news story

Some of you have asked about the news story I was refering to.... I was listening to it on Monday and I don't really remember it totally and don't know which station played it and can't find it on the internet.... but--- the gist of it was a family had been stalked by someone who found their blog and blogging cautions were given out at the end which said don't post pictures of your kids on the internet and if you do, password protect it. That's what I got from it. If any of you know more about it- post it here and share other stuff. I might have been wrong about it!

Katy,
If it was the story on KSL here it is http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=4699330&autostart=y
I watched it too because I had seen all of the commercials leading up to it so I was interested. I watched it and wasn't worried after I had seen it. From what I got out of it after they had hired a detective or lawyer and everything they found out it was a family member who had done it all.... not that I think private is bad because I don't. We really can't be too careful these days. Watch this maybe I missed some of it. Let me know what you think.

I have a link to that story on my blog. After watching it I totally am staying public, but I don't have kids so....

Anyway, it was a family member that had used their blog to advance his ethnocentric beliefs... so if they had gone private, it probably would have still happened. And besides that, who takes a picture of their address and posts it online???

But, again, when I have kids I will probably keep a seperate private blog just for them.
