MAY 2ND

Not many people know the significance of this day, but I hope to to educate all of you this year. By the way this is Luke not Katy.

For those not all ready aware May 2nd is Katy's birthday and not that it is a huge birthday this year or anything, but I thought we could all let Katy know how great she is. Katy will be 2o something this year and is getting closer to 30 than 20 now. So when you see her make sure you tell her happy birthday. Also for those of you who haven't heard next Friday Katy will graduate from Pharmacy School at the University of Utah.


What I really wanted to tell everyone this year is how amazing Katy is. First of all there are not many people who are able to finish a doctorate degree in 8 years. Even fewer who are able to do it in 8 years and still have 2 chilidren both of which were born while in their doctorate program. Even if they are able to have 2 kids and a degree not many are able to do both and still have well over a 3.5 gpa. I could also go on with all of the other things Katy has done from volunteering at the Utah Hemophilia Foundation to church callings to just being a great friend to many, but I think I have covered the basics.

By the way Katy is going to want me to erase this post because she is not one to brag, but you can all say that you know someone who at 26 has a doctorate degree, 2 kids, and a husband who is like another child.

Warmer weather

Even though it's snowing outside today- I thought I would post the pictures of us last week taking advantage of the sunshine!

I hate to join the revolution, but I totally love it! I'm watching them on Oprah on YouTube right now and I am amazed!!! I didn't really think they all did their own singing and now I'm a believer.

If you haven't watched it- rent season 1. Keep an open mind...... it's an acquired taste :)

Signed, Sealed, Delivered

Holy cow! 3.5 weeks until graduation!!!! I can't wait :) My invitations have been addressed and sent (I didn't send too many so it didn't take long!) We can hardly hardly wait to be done with this step in our life. We've been so blessed to make it through so easily and with so much help!

Four months!

Now that Sawyer is almost 5 months old- I'm finally getting around to putting up his 4 month stats!

Height: 26 inches (82%)
Weight: 15 lbs 4 oz (52%)
Head circumference: 43 cm (66%)

We've got a pretty average size boy :) And we sure think he's great!

- Rolls all over the living room floor from one end to another!
- Loves to laugh and smile
- Wakes up once/night
- Loves to play on the floor with toys
- So interested in watching people eat/drink
- Coos
- Puts everything in his mouth
- Loves to be outside
- Has been moved to the big bath tub and loves it



If you look REAL close- you can see the hair starting to grow! We can't even imagine what he's going to look like with hair :) He's so cute without it!

Easter Sunday

We had a fabulous Easter/conference weekend! It was fun to spend time relaxing, as a family :)

Spring is sort-of here...

We've had a few warmer days lately I am pretty tired of the snow, so I am so so thankful for any glimpse of the sun! We have been on a few walks and to the park :) We went to the park a few weekends ago with Jane and Jonah. They had the best time!
