Friends and Basketball

It's been a pretty busy two week- hence the lack of any new posts! Luke and I are back in school and things are going well. It is hard to be away from Ava, but she loves her babysitter so that makes it much easier. Ava will be a year old in 2 weeks and we are a little nostalgic these days. It is so crazy how fast they grow up. I keep thinking that I don't want her to grow out of a certain stage, but so far she has become funner and funner (not to mention funnIER) with each passing stage. We are having so much fun and love her soooo much. Something that we have discovered that Ava loves is basketball- as you will see in some of the pictures, she will just sit and stare at the people playing basketball (Craig and Luke)- it's so cute. The other pictures are of friends and of course- just Ava being cute at home :)
Cheese!!!
What more can I say- this face says it all!!

Bad color- funny face!

Eyes glued to the game

Oh- how sweet :)

Bundled up (in the house!)

Dad and Aves

Sweet sweet girl

What is better than chewing on a duck and taking a bath!?

Trej and Ava- they had the FUNNEST time playing together and luckily Trej didn't catch the massive Flu bug that Ava came down with like 15 minutes after we took this picture!

I think this picture is soooo cute of Trej (and bonus- he's clapping!)

Petting the dog

Ava and Shaun
He's not quite sure about her grabbing his foot.....

Yep- I told you- not quite sure about the foot grabbing at all! And Ava has no idea why he is crying.
Glued to yet another basketball game...

Not very good color, but it's so cute because Ava and Lola are both staring at the game (this went on for about 10 minutes)

Ava is always so curious- I thought this picture showed that fact very well

Very interested in the drill- little does she know it's being used to lock her out of the cupboards!

Yeah, she DEFINITELY doesn't know- or she wouldn't be smiling :)

Discovery Gateway and Cows

Last week Mindi and I took the kids to the Discovery Gateway. It is such a fun place for kids to play. There are pretend life size farm, dollhouse, market, and pond (for little kids). Ava absolutely loved it and all the kids were sad when we finally had to go. As a bonus the Lucky Brand store was having a 50% off sale and I was finally able to get Ava a couple shirts I had my eye on for quite a while! I love plain t-shirts (not onesies) and they are so hard to find so I was so excited to get some shirts for a great price.
This is a bonus picture of Jane and Ava playing "cow." Can you guess which one got to be the cow!?

Two cute girls and Ava finally with enough hair to do piggies!!!

Ava in the tree house

Winky

Ava's dream- plenty of bins to empty out!

I wonder why she keeps getting sick! I'm not always fast enough to catch things before they go in.

The classic Ava picture- crawling toward the camera.

Teeter-totter (and me looking like a VOB)
