Daddy's Girl

I don't know if Ava loves Luke more or if Luke loves Ava more. Either way, I am so glad that they have such fun together. Some of my most favorite pictures are the ones of him and her together. I decided to post some of the ones that have been taken of them together since she was born.

Laundry Time

The other day, Ava was having a little bit of a hard time when I would put her down to play. I needed to get some laundry done, so I tried putting her in a laundry basket with some clothes, and it turns out she loved it. I had to get some pictures to post because I thought it was so funny.

Floaties!?

Today my sister Mindi blessed her baby. I was just sitting on the couch and I looked over at Luke who was talking to some relatives at the table and saw him wearing these.....

Baby Einstein

As a last ditch effort today, I turned on a Baby Einstein video to keep Ava occupied for at least 2 minutes. It worked, for about 2 minutes, and then we had to switch to another activity

Cereal, I didn't eat any cereal!

I don't think I even need to write anything for these pictures, they speak for themselves...

Helping Mom Cook

I put Ava in her Exersaucer while I made dinner. After about 10 minutes she got bored so I had to do some quick thinking. I grabbed the nearest kitchen utensil I could find that wouldn't cut her hand off and she loved it.

Nap Time

I wanted to take a picture of Ava after she wakes up from her nap. She always smiles so big when I walk into the room to get her. I went in this morning to snap the picture and I thought they turned out so cute. As an added bonus, somehow she got her arm pulled out of her sleeve.

Our Big Trip

Hey everyone. What a vacation we had! We went through four states in 9 days and had a complete blast doing it. Ava did so well on our vacation- we couldn't even complain once. We love being parents- it adds so much more to our life (in all that we do- especially vacationing) and we wouldn't trade it for the world. Sorry the layout is crappy, but I am still trying to figure this blog thing out. I will try to put captions below the pictures, but in case it doesn't work the pictures go from New York to Cape Cod to Boston (boo the Red Sox!) We had a great time with the family, but were glad to get back home to the slow paced Salt Lake lifestyle we are lucky enough to live.
