Polar Express

For years we've wanted to take the kids on the Polar Express in Heber, but we've just never made it happen. This year, I was bound and determined and we did it! We went with some fabulous friends of ours and had a great time. Sawyer was pretty hyper and crazy which wasn't a great combination considering it was a very pregnant me along with Luke and Sawyer crammed onto a seat the size of a school bus, but we made it work and are so glad we did it. Hopefully we can make it a yearly tradition.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving again this year! We spent it close to home, since I wasn't about to undertake 10 hours in the car with my very pregnant self :) We had amazing food and dessert and a pretty low-key day.

Sawyer turns 2!

We had a great time celebrating Sawyer's 2nd birthday! He's at such a fun age and is so sweet (albeit, a little destructive and super super busy!) He keeps us on our toes and we love him! We had a family party with cake, ice cream, and presents and a few days later went to Kangaroo Zoo- it was a perfect day for the little mister, he loved loved Kangaroo Zoo!

Gymnastics

The pictures are total crap, but I wanted to remember how much fun Ava had during her first session of gymnastics- she totally loved it and learned so much! She went with one of her favorite friends, Ava B. and they were definitely partners in crime :)

Snowy Day Date

Luke and I went to the Utah vs. UCLA game last Saturday and we had a great time! It was nice to go to a game and watch the Utes win- and the company was the best!!

Halloween 2011

We had a great Halloween week this year! Each year, as a parent, I have gotten a little more into the Halloween spirit and tried a little harder to make it fun for us and the kids. We had a fun family costume party (kids, at least ) complete with some amazing soup, spooky punch, and an amazing carmel apple dessert bar! We had a costume parade, played Halloween BINGO, watched Ava in her Halloween program at school, and trick-or-treated our hearts out! Sawyer and Ava totally loved trick-or-treating this year, and we got to take the twins with us and they really had fun! Ava was Tinkerbelle and Sawyer was Peter Pan- Luke was a totally good sport and dressed up as Captain Hook for a little bit and the kids had so much fun! We are totally ready now for a change in season, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and our new little brother/sister!!!!
