Family Fun!!! and 36 weeks

If I get as good of sleeper the second time around as I did the first, I will be the most gratefulgirl ever! I can handle 5 months of getting up at night if it means 2 + more years of sleeping bliss :)

Mindi and mine's new creations....

I am constantly trying to look for the positive in having a husband who loves sports and loves to watch them...... At least I get some quality clothes folding time from him while he his enjoying the latest sporting event :)

Ava carved her first pumpkins this year! We aren't really an all-out Halloween family. I like to decorate and go to Gardner Village to see the Witches, but our costumes are usually very sup-par, thrown together 5 minutes before trick-or-treating (this year, Ava's will be a little better....) and I don't do haunted houses!- My dad is an absolute lover of them, but I have always been terrified!

Ava loved the "guts"!

She thought is was super hilarious to pull out a big chunk and show them to everyone. Luke's parents were able to share in the occassion

Our finished Jack-o-lantern (next to our hilarious witches broom that chases after you and cackles once it senses movement!)

36.5 weeks down..... 3.5 more to go!

The witches

We had a great day today with Mason, Olivia, and Natalie at Gardner Village. It was complete with plenty of witches, cute cute kids, a pony ride, and a yummy lunch at Archibald's!

Olivia is getting way too old! Her little ponytail and boots were so so cute!!

Patiently waiting for their turn....

Vegas Vacation

Our trip to Vegas last week was filled with a little of:

This: (fabulous seats and so so good!)

This: (shopping at H & M in this little beauty....!)

This: (the girls LOVED swimming every morning and Ava is fearless!)

This: (being WAY to cool for us!)

This: (Go Utes!)

what a perfect perfect iPOD rest!

One of the loves of my life!

The other love of my life! (Luke!)

This picture is on here not to show Ava, but to show Jane in the backseat...... you may not recognize her with the blanket on her head!

Domesticizing! (sp?)

My fabulous friend, Jeanette, is a great sewer and has been so nice to teach me some of her amazing skills! We made our girs the CUTEST Halloween skirts ever. It didn't even take that long- thanks to Jeanette's surger (how have I lived my life without one of these!?)The girls look so super cute in them and are excited to wear them together on Sunday :)

Complete with matching bows/pins. I absolutely love Jeanette's idea of adding some black tulle to them- it made them perfect!

Cornbelly's

We had a super fun time at Cornbelly's a few weeks ago. We went with firends from our ward and my sister Mindi and family. The kids always love it and this year was no exception.

My cute friend Jamie and her boys (they are probably the funniest little boys I have ever been around. Not to mention- Max turns any object into a light saber!)

Soon to be a family of 4.......

Katy is the Smartest ever!

This is Luke posting so get ready.

Yeah I don't usually get on our blog and do anything, but when the 2002 KHS Valedictorian out does herself I kind of have to brag about if for her because we all know she won't. Now I'm not sure if she really was Valedictorian, but I do know she talked at her graduation. I was lucky I remembered to show up to mine.

Just in case any of you missed her on the Channel 2 News last Thursday and Friday I will put a link here for all to enjoy.
http://connect2utah.com/content/health/story?cid=57342
All you have to do is click on play and view larger. Then just sit back and enjoy. Don't forget the popcorn.

Make sure you call Katy and give her feedback on her performance because I have her leaning towards a job in Hollywood.

PS Way to go Katy. I love you.

Random and 34 week belly

On our way home from Bobbie's wedding after we had stopped for 45 minutes and ate lunch, we hear a little voice from the backseat say: "I need to go poops!" What could be worse!? We are 20 minutes from an exit and she had just gone potty 30 minutes ago.... So- we did what we had to do. This is Luke holding Ava while she did her thing. We are just so glad she was easy to potty train and is flexible with going to the bathroom. Seriously! And I am just glad Luke willingly holds her while she goes....

We had dinner at a great sushi/japanese restaurant last night- Mikado

Ava tried out chopsticks for the first time.....

Friday night I went out with some friends for our friend Jeanettes birthday! (thanks Hadley!!!) what a fun girls night and we went to Buca de Beppo (sp?) and so of course it was so good! And judging by my astronomical use of exclamation points- it was super super fabulous!

34 weeks and counting! We are so excited to meet our little guy.

PS- I really do get ready every day and look presentable, it just so happens that I usually remember to take a belly picture on Sunday night when I am not at my finest!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Thursday, Ava and I went to our first pumpkin patch with our friends and it was super fun! Ava loved looking for the perfect pumpkin (and we came home with 3!) It was so fun and totally got us excited for Halloween :)

Ava is somewhere in this maze......

The cutest kids ever!
