We thought this blog would be a great way to keep in touch with our friends and family. It's pretty much all about Ava and Sawyer-Hope you enjoy!

Look who's rolling over!
Sawyer started rolling over a few days ago. He's always been pretty close because he rolls from side to side, but he's now finally started figuring out how to get all the way over! I can't believe it's that time already. He goes for his 4 month check-up next Monday and I can't wait to see his stats, that's always fun :) Bonus picture at the end of Kari at 5.5 months. We can't wait to meet the girls!

The going's on
We've done some fun things lately. Discovery Gateway (always a kid- pleaser!) and a ward fun run.
On the Sawyer front: Sawyer is cute as ever and has the cutest laugh! He's starting to hold toys by himself.
On the Ava front: Ava has started taking dance (ballet and tap), and totally loves it! I have yet to see her because it's on Wednesday so our nanny, Alysa, takes her- but Alysa says it super cute!
On the Luke front: His job is going very great and he's still totally loving it! He's been playing basketball and has mostly stopped drinking sugar soda pop and has managed to lose 20 lbs (with easy might I add... arrgghh!)
On the school front: my current rotation is going well... 2 weeks to go and then my final 6 week rotation. Graduation is on May 7th! (more on that to come...) I got a job offer from Wal-Mart pharmacy so that takes some pressure off! There aren't many phamacist jobs in the Salt Lake Valley so I was worried I wouldn't be able to work even quarter time, but I can so I'm happy :)
On the life front: We put an offer in on a house in our ward. We love the area we live in and absolutely LOVE our ward, and we also love this house. It hasn't been lived in for 3.5 years and it's been remodeled with a finished basement- so it is great :) I'll let you all know what happens!
I was on Studio 5 today on a spot they did on finding a preschool. I haven't seen it yet, so I may regret telling anyone I was on.......
Love this hat! Thanks Jamie :)

Family Pictures 2010
I can finally replace our year-old family pictures with our updated ones! I love getting family pictures done and then seeing the changes in all of us from time-to-time. This year I didn't love the changes I saw in myself.... sniff sniff, but what can I say- I have a tendency to gain quite a bit of baby weight and it takes me quite some time to get it off! Darn all those pregnancy brownies, chips, soda, ect....! Next time, I'll do better..... :) I love love love having 2 kids. It's so exciting and fun to have a baby again and to see Ava with him. She mauls him about 15 times a day, but deep in my heart and mind I know it's just because she really does love him so much and just wants to be around him. She smothers him with hugs and kisses and if I ever lay him down alone- she never misses the opportunity to "play" with him (ie- jump by him, lay on top of him, try to pick him up, put blankets on top of him, you know... "safe" stuff!) Sawyer is so chill and easy- I wonder what our next baby will be like...... I don't think I'll get lucky enough to have 3 east babies. I'm scared.... But- that will be quite some time away so I'm trying not to even think about it!
So- anyway- the pictures. The day started out beautiful, but once we got to our picture spot it got pretty cold! The sun also decided to come out right when we didn't want it to so we are squinting in some of them. Poor Sawyer didn't like being outside of his blanket or woken up too much. It was pretty difficult, but our fabulous photographer, Jeanette, managed to still get some great shots! If I had it to do again, I wouldn't have worn my bangs down, but oh well... there's always next set of pics in 6 months (don't tell Luke...)
