We thought this blog would be a great way to keep in touch with our friends and family. It's pretty much all about Ava and Sawyer-Hope you enjoy!

Car washing and pool swimming
We have loved the warm weather here in the great Salt Lake! It hasn't been too stiffling hot yet and we have had some great times. We recently made two purchases that have changed our condo life: A hose to hook up to the washer hook-up and a kiddie pool for our patio. Ava loves helping Luke wash the car and ends up soaking wet and Luke loves washing the car and making the wheels shine :) We bought a kiddie pool and put it on our patio and it is perfect because Ava can play and I can sit in the air conditioned house and keep an eye on her! Summertime!!!

The Fray...
As I mentioned a week ago- we went and saw The Fray at USAHNA ampitheater and had the funnest time! Here are a few pics I was able to snag off a friends blog (thanks Jamie!) and everyone please say a prayer for my lost camera..... I hope my adorable 2.5 year old hasn't hidden it somewhere, never to be found again! Pictures to come from our weekend at Lake Powell (as soon as I can steal pics from someone else!)
Believe me.... this is the happiest the husbands were all night! Seriously- who leaves a concert during the encore when it just happens to be my two favorite songs :( At least they all had eachotherto complain to that each song sounded the same.....

So I am 22 weeks in this picture and Lindsey (in the black) is 39.5 weeks. I am pretty sure we're the same size.....

Not much...
There isn't too much new going on around here. The baby is getting bigger and we are getting excited. It still seems like so far away until he gets here, but we are eagerly waiting.... Clerkships are going well for me. I have been blessed enough to have my first two rotatino preceptors only make me work M-Th so I get 3 day weekends with Ava and Luke (well, after Luke gets off work, that is..) every weekend and we have the best times! I can't wait until Nov 6 when I know I get to be home all day for a few months with my kids!!!! So, anyway. Last night we went to The Fray at USAHNA ampitheater with some couples we are friends with and we had a blast! We ate at the always delicious and super busy Cheesecake Factory where I had one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had and some very delicious avacado egg rolls :) We had a great time with the Rice's, Scheiss's, and Mulcock's and hope to do it again soon! I don't have any pictures until I can blog steal them but I'm going to see if I have other pics to post....
Happy Birthday B!

Fourth of July
We had a great fourth weekend! On Friday my friend Renea and I took the girls to the zoo- it was busy, but it was fun because we don't have to take strollers anymore and the girls can just roam :) On Saturday we went to our annual ward pancake breakfast/bike parade and that night we went to Brigham City to BBQ with friends and to watch some amazing fireworks right from the front yard! It was a fun time!

Summer swim party
Tuesday night a bunch of us friend families got together at the Rice's parents house and had a BBQ/swim party. It was an absolute blast. Being as my swimsuit is starting to look a bit to snug in areas I opted out and instead let Luke and Ava swim. Ava swam by herself with her floaties most of the time and it was fabulous. She is a total fish! She even got out of the water and preceded down the water slide and attempted to jump off the diving board. What a daredevil! The swimming was great and the company even greater! Thanks, Rice's for the great time :)
At the beginning of the party.....

The end of the party...... Ava closed down the pool!
Cute Kate Soffe!
The mom's who took one for the team and didn't swim....
Baby bump and the soon to be married's
Introducing--- soon to be Brent and Kari Worthington. This is Kari's fiance who we absolutely adore. He is so great! We have known him for a very long time and are glad he and Kari are finally getting married :)

Unfortunately, my belly "bump" at 19 weeks looks a little more like a glorified fat roll in the front......
From the side it may look slightly more like a bump.....

Park City Weekend
Last weekend, Edward Jones, the company Luke works for- had their anual regional meetings. This year they were at the Canyons and it is for the whole family so we stayed in Park City for a few days in a spectacular hotel! Ava and I had it pretty easy, but Luke was in meetings most of the days. We had two fun dinners. The first was a hawaiin luau and the next night was an adults only award dinner. There was a really neat group that came and did native dances from all polynesian islands and Ava loved it! Luke got a metal for being a first year financial advisor. We are so proud of his hard work and are so glad he loves his job!

Weekend in Kanab
Two weekends ago we went to Kanab. We stopped in Centennial Park and saw Natalie and the baby which- I am so so sad I didn't get a picture of! Mom and Baby are beautiful!) then we went on to Kanab. Luke's parent watched the grandkids while us and Luke's brother and sister in law went to Traveler's for dinner. It is a yummy little steakhouse on the Arizona border. On Saturday we bummed around until that evening we both had family get togethers and reconvened at the City pool that my parent rented out. It was so so so much fun! It is by far the best pool I have been to and taken Ava to. Thanks for the great weekend!
