The cute duo

I love my kids and my husband! The only thing that could make us happier is if I were done with school..... but check out the countdown at the top of our blog- we're getting SO close!!!!!

As cute as I think these binki's are- thank goodness last week my mom was able to get him to start taking a NUK pacifier. It stay in his mouth soooo much better :)

Luke had flowers delivered to both of his loves for Valentine's Day..... We were both so excited!

S in his carseat, looking hardcore.... well, ok- maybe not hardcore, but SUPER cute!

The Valentine's gifts- a sewing machine for me, Florida Gator gear for Luke, and some toys for Ava- all were so satisfied and happy!

Our sweet sweet little boy- he is the easiest baby and cutest!

Ava and Luke's artistic drawing of a side profile of me...

Crap happens...

I know- not a novel idea for a post title but..... I'll let the post speak for itself:

If you're wondering how in the world poop managed to get almost head to toe on my 3 month old.... when you know, please tell me because I honestly have no idea! All I know is, it was pretty gross and definitely one of those moments when after it's done, and it didn't seem that bad and you were laughing (and taking pictures!)- you realize you are truly a mom!

Happy Birthday Ava

Ava is such a blessing in our life! From the day she was born, she has been a pretty easy and sweet girl. We never relly felt the terrible two's and so far, 3 is even better! She is always willing to help with the baby and tries to cheer him up when he's sad. She is still taking naps which is really nice for me :) She loves to learn, sing, and to read books. Her favorite cartoons are Dora (or course!) and Super Why. She loves to play with friends and to go shopping (surprise...!) We love her so much and are so glad she is our firstborn! Every day is total comedy when she's around.

We had a very special Jungle birthday party with 12 of Ava's friends. It was totally fun and complete madness for 2 hours! She got so many fun presents and had the cutest cupcakes made (courtesy of Mindi!), a fun time was had by all!!!

Sawyer's Blessing Day

Last Sunday, we blessed Sawyer! Luke gave him such a beautiful blessing and we had a fun/delicious luncheon afterward. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends! We also had cake/ice cream and some presents to celebrate Ava's 3rd birthday a few days early. She opened presents for 3 days straight and loved every minute of it!

I had looked for a blessing outfit for Sawyer since I found out he was going to be a boy. I am pretty picky when it comes to little boy blessing outfits- no tuxes for me! It was very hard to find anything I liked. I wanted it to be very white and plain. I bought this outfit from Gap and it fit the white and plain, but I didn't know if it was to pajama-ish so I kept looking. I finally found something a few days before we blessed him, but decided I didn't want to spend $30 on something he would only wear once so we used the Gap outfit. I really loved it and I'm glad we decided to go with it!

The after dinner/cake carnage- thanks to Brent, all the dishes got done!

The pregnant ladies.... They are both due about the same time, but my sister is have twins!

Baby smiles

Sawyer's been smiling for a while now and it's so cute! I love the first baby smiles, especially when they smile when their binki is in :) True story: When we got home from taking Sawyer to his first full block of church this last Sunday, I wanted to take a picture of him. I took him out of his carseat and put him on the couch. He started whimpering, but when I came back with the camera and put it up to take the picture he totally started smiling. What!? Have I taken that many pictures of him already...... Anyway- here are some cute pictures of the kids.

This boy LOVES to be naked! When he gets fussy at night- I strip him down and he is so so happy. Can't say I blame him....

The first after church picture....

The second....

And so on and so forth......

We can't forget our little princess. Love her!

We went to Millard last week to watch my brother, Craig, play basketball. He is a superstar!

Ava doesn't like the buzzer... She pretty much was like this the whole game!
