New cousin Emmie

I was so so lucky to be in on Kari's delivery today! It was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences I have ever had and it was so fun. Emelia Kate (surprise! I thought it was going to be a different middle name- but they kept it a surprise from me until today, they told me her middle name was going to be after me - I'm so so thrilled!) weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz, has lots of dark hair, looks just like her mommy did when she was born and is totally beautiful. It made us all even that much more excited for our new baby to come in a few months. Welcome to the fam Emmie!

My Fair Lady

We were so so lucky to be given some tickets to see My Fair Lady at the Hale Centre Theater and it was so fun and so so good! I had never been to that theater before and I can't wait to go back. The acting was amazing, the setting was super small and intimate, and the singing was so fun. We got to go with two of our favorite friends, and we had a great night. Ava made it through a little more than she did last time we saw Mary Poppins, but not much :) she was asleep about 15 minutes after intermission!

Hallowwen Fun

We've already had a few Halloween parties and have a few SUPER exciting ones coming up :) I love Halloween/Fall and have finally been able to slow down enough to enjoy it and throw some spooky bashes! Our first one was with some friends at our house- we had a soup/breadstick bar followed by some delicious dessert! We had a pumpkin carving contest with some great Halloween decor as prizes and a spooky nighttime treasure hunt for the kids- it was a total hit!

I had a few of Ava's girlfriend's over after preschool a few days ago for some Halloween fun. We baked/decorated pumpkin cookies, played spooky BINGO, colored some wooden witches/skeletons, and most importantly- had Halloween manicures done! My mom came over to help and the girls totally loved it!

More Disney

A whole bunch of pictures didn't download last time, but I finally got them to download so here is the final vacation pictures. Plus a few from our recent outing to the copper mine and Ava's first day of preschool :) She absolutely loves it, but we miss her four mornings a week :(
