More Cute Ones

Feeding Time.......again

She sees the spoon and opens wide.....

And it finally pays off- yum!

Ava is getting so much better at eating solids. She sees the spoon coming from a mile away and opens her mouth as wide as she can. We think it is pretty cute (and REALLY funny too!)

She is almost sitting up completely good. For some reason, she sits up the best in the bath tub.

This picture is to signify that she is officially sleeping through the night. YEAH!!!! We didn't dare to hope until she had done it for a few weeks, but now it's official. Our hard nights are over. HOORAY!

If only she had been a boy, then Luke would have had a driving buddy. Driving buddy or not, we are so glad to have our little girl!

The Ball Game

We went to a Bees game last week and had a lot of fun. We took blankets and sat on the grass with our friends. The girls loved it and we all had a great time.

Ava's bed time was during the game so we got her to sleep and put her in her car seat. She slept for about 45 minutes until all the noise woke her up. I lifted up the blanket covering her car seat and there she was- all smiles! She went back to sleep soon after.

Ava loves to be outside so she liked being at the game. This is one of my favorite binkies.

We just started feeding Ava baby food and this was her first bite of Peas. She looks funny, but she actually likes them a lot!

American Idol

Mindi, Kari, and I all went to the American Idol Tour concert last week and had the best time. We bought the cheapest seats, but were able to move down to sit with some friends for the second half. The top ten from AI were there and they sounded really great. It was fun just to spend some sister time. This is a picture of us after the concert.

American Fork Canyon

Last weekend we went up American Fork Canyon and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows with friends and family. We had such a fun time. Here are some pictures of our friends and family with us.

Silver Lake

For family night, we went up to Silver Lake by the Brighton ski resort. We went with our friends Jon and Tara and their little girl Ella. We took up a picnic and then walked around the lake. Ella and Ava loved being outside and the weather was perfect. The fish were jumping out of the water to catch flies and it was so cool. It's so fun to show Ava new things. She loved playing with Ella. Ella would jump up and down and Ava would laugh so hard.

Cousin Pictures

This is the second time Mindi and I tried to get the cousins pictures done professionally. The first time we went to Sears and it didn't turn out very well. The camer broke halfway through and then Ava fell asleep, so we didn't get any great pictures. This time we went to Kiddie Kandids and things turned out pretty well. It was a little rough getting all kids posed, not falling, Ava not grabbing Jonah's hair or her own dress, and Jane not smiling like a monster, but the pictures turned out cute. I think if we would have waited another month, Jonah could lift his head up and Ava could sit up by herself and it all would have been easier. Oh well, live and learn, I guess.
