Much needed blog post....

So, during the busy school year I always thought to myself "during the summer I will post like every day since I won't be too busy!" but as you can all see- I have posted much less during the summer than I ever did during the school year. The summer has been super busy for us. Since I have to do two clerkships (the pharmacy school equivalent of medical rotations) the first four weeks of summer I tried to pack everything I could in. I started my 40 hour work weeks at a wal-mart by my house last week and I have three more weeks to go. After that I go to LDS inpatient pharmacy and do 4 more weeks of work and then I have 4 weeks off before I go back to school. The summer has been filled with so many fun outings and being with friends and family. Ava is being watched by one of my friends in our church ward who has kids and Ava is loving it. Erin has watched Ava since she was a baby- she has truly been a lifesaver! I am currently working four 10 hour shifts so that I can have three days off (Fri,Sat,and Sun) to be home with Ava and it is working out well- not optimal, but well. I really enjoy the people I work with and am learning so much practical knowledge. There isn't too much going on in our lives besides that- Luke passed his health and life insurance test and his new position with Edward Jones is going great- he loves it! My brother Jeff gets home from his mission next month (July 31st) and we are all counting down the days. I hope you enjoy the pictures....

No- it isn't the sock eating monster... it is just Ava wearing some of her shorts on her head.

The newest one year old in our family!

Ava helping Jonah open his presents

Probably the first picture of Ava and Brooke both looking at the camera (even if it was an accident!)

Have I ever said how cute Ava is when she is sleeping. She always sleeps like this, all curled up.

Riding the train at the zoo

Belly- oops, I mean Ava and Jane catching a ride at the zoo

The girls "riding" the tiger

Ava having fun at the zoo- she really loved it!

Don't mind the close-up of me please....

One VERY tired girl after the zoo

Wheeler farms- she laughe and laughed at these lambs

Ava having a conversation with the cow

I have to keep pulling her hands out of the fences so the chickens wouldn't bite them off!

Ava and her friend Lola trading sippies back and forth

One cute little girl

Aves hair is getting longer! In the second to last picture she looks like Traj from the back. It's probably time to give him a good chop so people stop calling him a girl but I just can't. Glad you are having a fun yet busy summer. You are Supermom working and all. Glad that Luke is liking his job too. I will want to get the scoop on it next time we get together.

My heart just ached for you while I read your post. Don't you just hate to leave Ava? Leaving Anna is like the worst thing ever for me. It is so hard. That is so nice that you have someone in your ward to watch her that you trust and she can have fun with. I'm so proud of you for being such a go getter though.
