Rolls, David Archuleta, Jazz Game, Mother's Day, and Swimming (that should cover it!)

Last week I got a very beautiful belated birthday present from my brother Jeff who is on a mission. He had sent me actual flowers in the mail! Thanks Jeff :)

The first time I made rolls was the day of Ava's blessing and I vowed I would never do it again! They were so complicated and time consuming (not to mention I didn't have a rolling pin!) but thanks to pampered chef and my friend Erin's super easy and yummy roll recipe I attenpted it another time and they were so great!

We went to the Jazz game last Friday night (after which we traveled in the middle of the night to go to Kanab!) and saw David Archuleta sing the national anthem which was great and saw the bear do some really great stunts. Oh yeah, and the game was great too!

Seriously the Jazz bear is not only on stilts, but standing on the very top rung of a ladder- how amazing..... I was waiting for him to fall the entire time.

For Mother's Day weekend we went to Kanab, ran the 10k, had a BBQ at the Ramsay's and talked to Jeff (bro on a mission). We had good food, good company, and a great pace during the race. It was so good to talk to Jeff again. This was a very special phone call because it is the last phone call we will get since he is coming home........... July 31st- HOORAY!!!!!
For those of you who saw the post about the spaghetti and about how I get stressed when Ava is too dirty- imagine me letting her play in a sand box! She absolutely loved it so it was all worth it and I discovered that after a bath, she was good as new.

She managed to east about half the sand in the sand box....

She even used a spoon to eat it (don't mind me yawning in the background- good timing Luke!)

Precious moment......

Talking over the speaker phone to uncle Jeff (don't mind me looking like I am asleep in the background! Obviously the middle of the night drive to Kanab and running the 10k the next morning made me VERY sleepy)

Baylee teaching Ava how to ride a trike. Baylee was so cute with Ava- and such a big helper

Baylee, Trey, and Ava "helping" the new kitty. This was the most G rated picture of Ava with the kitty. In all the rest she is choking it to death, she really loved it

Today we wet to Lehi and went swimming at the Legacy Center. It was a super ig hit with Aves! She did so well and even learned some swimming skills. She was a very tired girl after two fun filled hours of swimming.

We were so happy to have Jane, Jonah, Natalie, and Brooke to play with

After two hours of swimming the Redds are posing for a picture (don't kill me Mindi- you look hot!)

Ava after swimming, she was sooooo tired

You have the cutest clothes for her. I love her lil swim suit. I'm sad you were in Kanab and I didn't see you! Maybe next time. Ava is a cutie. The sandbox is the best. I just crack up how you hate the messiness. So funny.

You've been very busy. I just ordered a sand box for Madison...what have I gotten myself into. I love the Lehi Legacy swimming center. I love her little swimsuit and her belly hanging out.

I love Ava's little belly. When we were at home, she was pulling on Tiddles tail and he/she(is the cat a boy or a girl?) almost bit Ava...don't worry, I rescued her:)

Busy woman! Cute pictures! I am glad that you had a good mother's day and got to talk to your brother. Those calls are the neatest. My little brother just turned in his mission papers! I feel so old. Ava's swimsuit is the cutest.
