Our trip down south!

A few weeks ago- we had the invitation to head south for a few days and stay with some friends. I packed up the kids and we headed down for a fatherless and husbandless few days with some girlfriends! The moms had the BEST time, laughed a lot, reminisced, and ate some yummy food. The kids had two days of straight play- all except baby Tavs who was a sick little guy (but not contagious thank goodness :) We can't wait to get together again. Ava talks about Trajen ALL the time now so I'm sure we can't go too long without seeing him again :) Thanks Mikkel and Ashley for making our stay SO SO fabulous.

Almsot 4-year olds are SO easy to travel with- pair that with an almost 1-year old that has no problem sleeping in a car if planned out strategically and give the driver a book on CD- and I could drive for miles!!

The lovely ladies! I was so happy to meet Ashley's new tiny baby! He's so cute and she's such a fabulous mom!

As an added bonus- my mom and grandma came over one day and we did lunch and a very important shopping trip to Christensen's. It was so great to see them! You'd never believe how old my beautiful grandma is- she doesn't look a day over 50!

After pulling out of the gas station to head home- I heard some sniffles in the back seat and found Ava literally crying because she already missed Trajen.... It was so sweet and so sad!

It was a very full and tiring 2 days- as evidence by the little girl in a coma-like sleep in the back seat!



But don't worry- I had this little lady to keep me company.....
