We decided to go up to Silver Lake and do a little family hike for Labor Day..... then we decided to do a different "little" hike- it was about a mile straight up the mountain, with Luke packing Sawyer, a pregnant mom, and a four year-old hiking all by herself up and down. When we got to the Lake at the end, it seemed worth it, but it was a little hard for us first- timers! We ended our family day with some fried chicken at the park and the kids had a blast- as well as their dad and uncle!
